I visited the field today.  Those who stayed home missed a great day for flying. 

When the flyers left at about 3:55 pm there was absolutely no wind.  They said there was no rain since they got there around 11:15.  It seems the prognosticators that were calling for rain, were incorrect.

Wind was 7-10 km with the occasional gust about twice that.  By 2:30 the wind was very light.  The sun appeared to be out most of the time they were there.

A big thank you to Geoff for cutting the grass.  A big raspberry for the demented individuals who use quads and off road bikes to churn up the runway and pits.
