1st Annual Glider Day in Lantz
Sunday, August 01, 2015 - rain date date August 2.


All are welcome to fly at this strictly glider event for thermal soaring. For those who don't have a glider and want to try it, we will have the club trainer glider there, the Parkzone Radian with buddy box. We expect to be there around 8 AM and could be there all day. Brown bag your lunch, drinks, etc, or if you wish, there are fast food chains nearby.

Bring your electric gliders, your high-starts, winches, etc. Even electric aero-towed would be exciting to see.(That would be the only exception to non-glider model flying...just for the aero tow)

The location is a huge beautiful sod farm, in Lantz, about 30 minutes outside of Halifax. Directions will be posted soon.
