A while back , I picked up 2  2.4 receivers from  Hobbyking ,  put one in my Extra and it worked great ,   While after I tried the second receiver and it would bind but nothing happened , servo's would not move .  so to make a long store short ,  at the time I setup a new model , but forgot to change it from 10ch mode to 7ch mode .............    last night it cheched it again to figure out what was going on , I setup a new model and did the bind and the mode was 7ch it worked , when I power the radio off and on it changed automatically to 10ch , until you go in and set the parms opt to 7ch mode ... 

IT worked fine after that .........

I 've had the same thing happen !!!!!!
