warbirds over the atlantic in truro

A very successful meet in truro today.  A lot of impressive warbirds and equally impressive flying.

thanks ron.  yes, a great time, especially when you have modellers bringing planes just for you to fly.

here's a picture I'm especially proud of.  Mike Pothier's Mk XVI Spitfire.

Mike made this photo while I was flying it!.

Thanks Mike for the three flights on that beautiful bird yesterday.

Thanks also to Rae Coyle for the time on his p-51.

Hey Al,

Video and photos look great!  Glad you got some footage of the Corsair.  After the 3rd flight noticed the prop wasn't swinging freely. We took it apart and apparently the glue let go on the magnets in the motor. 

I'll glue it back together, hopefully do a better job then HK did.   Grin

That is such a beautiful bird, a testament to your flying  skills Al and to his trust and what a great capture! I'm enjoying all of the super coverage, sorry to have missed this event, can't be everywhere at the same time ! Cry

Looks like it. Grin  I used JB Weld steel epoxy good for up to 600F Cheesy
