This is my latest project – a modified Dirt Ball with elevons.

Where do you start?  Cut away and discard all the Depron that doesn’t look right and you have a “kit`.

Then before you assemble it – you decorate it.  Not to be outdone by brother Shawn, I used several colors and added glitter for lots of bling bling.  Shocked

Apparently from now on I can`t do any painting unless under adult supervision.  Angry

… and the finished Super Dirt Ball – ready for some wall bashing.

That looks super cool bill.

Need any help programming the elevons?  Grin

I'm sticking with the micro dirt ball this season, hoping it's smaller size will keep me safe when you're airborne.     Grin

I have the elevons set up… Took some effort as the HXT500s are not well matched and this is the first plane that I ever built in which I glued the servos in place – so I can’t easily swap them.   After much tweaking they work OK except for high rates full down elevator – one is slightly off, so I’ll just have to refrain from diving for the deck.

Hopefully I can test it outdoors and trim it out.

I may build a micro Dirt Ball if I can work out how to mount the 3542 motor…  Roll Eyes
