Not to be outdone by brother Shawn, I used several colors and added glitter for lots of bling bling. Apparently from now on I can`t do any painting unless under adult supervision. … and the finished Super Dirt Ball – ready for some wall bashing.

I'm sticking with the micro dirt ball this season, hoping it's smaller size will keep me safe when you're airborne.

I have the elevons set up… Took some effort as the HXT500s are not well matched and this is the first plane that I ever built in which I glued the servos in place – so I can’t easily swap them. After much tweaking they work OK except for high rates full down elevator – one is slightly off, so I’ll just have to refrain from diving for the deck.

Hopefully I can test it outdoors and trim it out.

I may build a micro Dirt Ball if I can work out how to mount the 3542 motor… Roll Eyes

Gravity always wins...
