Gents, former ASRCM club member and friend of many of us passed away today.  Shawn was just about to start chemo treatments for Leukemia, a blood cancer, when he left us.  He had been sick for a while and I chatted with him at the QE2 a short time ago on the day he had a bone marrow test.  He had also been diagnosed with congestive heart failure.
