Bought a GP Talyorcraft 25 kit hoping to convert it to electric.  Yucks.   Scratch built the fuselage and used some wing parts, cowl, and windshield, then donated the rest to the Sally-Ann.

Note my assistant…. He’ll probably take all the credit for the good stuff and blame me for the goofs.

The Sandy-proofed landing gear started life as a stop sign.

The motor is a 3542-1100 and the battery is a 4S 4,000 mA.  That should handle a slow flying Taylor Crib.

I'll have to check with the Department of Highways to see what the metal is.... 

The landing gear is attached to the fuselage with three nylon screws – to two layers of light ply and a lot of epoxied reinforcements.  It is sandy proof Sandy.

zoom zoom might be a while away, though I have been flying in the school yard three times  in the past week.  once in the rain.

Finally, after many diversions.

Got the red trim added to the airframe and the cowl painted.

Now waiting for weather (like three months away) to clear for some zoom zoom
