IMAC training day 23 June at Shearwater
May 31st, 2012 at 9:52am

Hi Guys,

We are going to try and hold an IMAC training day at the Shearwater field/runway on the 23rd of june. (rain date 24th)

We need at least 10 people to sign up for this to make it worth holding for the senior guys that would come instruct.
The day will begin with a quick classroom instruction to explain the way you are judged in a real competition, and then we would move to the field for some one on one instruction.

Please do not be shy about attending, as the whole idea is that it is a day for raw beginners! You don't even have to fly if you don't feel comfortable, but please come and learn what it is all about.

Remember, you do not need an aerobatic airplane to be a beginner IMAC guy!  Any plane you want to fly will do, and the manoeuvres are very easy and do not require a fancy airplane.  Any of the park zone planes would do fine!

There will be a canteen/bbq set up as well.

The whole idea is to introduce IMAC to new people to try and bring new people into the sport.

Finally, Great Hobbies are giving away a really nice plane to a BEGINNER IMAC guy this summer and the way to enter the draw is to do a competition and get a ticket, so why not try?

Please get back to me as soon as you can as we need to know numbers of people.

Thanks,

Brian
