Sunday Craig brought his trailer which transported the mower and some starting tables, Alain's truck was used for picnic tables, Paul's chain saw and muscle cut a bunch of trees away from the approach to the runway.
Other much needed muscle came from Joe, Jon, Chris Quigley and Geoff. Bill and I did some measuring to MAAC guidlines (the light stuff) and mostly I just took pictures.
the previous day Ed Harpell and I moved the pilot stations and fencing using Ian's (ed's son) truck. Along with Bill we spent some time at the old site digging out the cement block under the greenlee box. This had to be removed to allow Derek to plow up the field.
Also on Saturday Joe, Alain and Chris Quigley did some heavy lifting getting most of the pilot stations and a couple of picnic tables out to the site. Again, many thanks for Alain's truck.
great job folks for a quick and flawless setup.
Jim Goddard and his wife Carol dropped in for a visit today as well. It was good to see Jim. and Carol too!
