excellent!  back to four hours!

any tables or chairs in that venue?  footwear?

I see it's off the same exit, not quite out to Riverton.  I'll get Bill to start studying the route.   Grin

Yes, lots of tables, chairs vending machines and room  Cheesy. They dont require indoor foot wear. And you can eat in gym. For size comparisons MacLeods approx 4800sq, Michelin approx 6000sq , NSCC approx 10000sq its big. Much higher the Michein club. Easiest way is take same exit at museum, 2nd set of lights turn right (Sobeys on left) top of hill school on left. Go around back enter through double doors.

A good turnout friday night to try out the new gym and a fantastic gym it is with a very high ceiling!  It's every bit as big as the guys promised.  Indoor heaven!

While this shot is slightly wide angle and pushes things back a bit, it does give an idea of the size of the flying area.

I second Frank’s motion – a tip of the hat to Mike and Paul for getting this new venue – lots of room and large enough to trim your aircraft in the air.  Smiley

Great pix and video Al…

I suggest we take up a collection to help Gary finance a landing gear for his black crow.  Roll Eyes

Bravo Zulu - Definitely an 11 out of 10 place to fly.

Great photos and video Al.  I always appreciate your weekly coverage of the event Smiley

I should have a new foamie for you to photo this Friday.  I was going to wait for the Yak till next season but couldn't help myself lol.  Just have to solder the speed controller and add the push pull on the rudder, elevator and control rods on the ailerons and it should be good to go.

Here is a sneak peak.  Please excuse the mess  Grin

Just have to add the aileron control rods and good to go.

I also found out that Debonder eats foam  Cry  Almost lost the tail on my Yak lol  glued in the push pull thread on the control horn and noticed I hadn't quite routed the thread the way I wanted through the carbon fiber reinforcements and had to remove it.  Just a little spilt on the foam and just ate it like crazy.  Luckily the damage was on the underside and didn't go all the way through.

I feel right at home with that picture.  Looks just like my work bench, in fact like all of my shop.  just ask Joan, that's her pet peeve.   Grin

debonder is essentially acetone.  that stuff will dissolve most plastics including the plastic used in the gearboxes of micros like the 4-site and the extra.  beware using that stuff around airplanes.  Grin

if you dropped a micro p51 into a vat of that stuff, all that would be left in about ten minutes would be the nylon prop, nylon gears in the servos and the carbon fibre pushrods.   Grin Grin

great for cleaning up the tips of ca bottles or things like that.
