Title: Li-po charger Post by Vonrichtofen on Jun 7th, 2021 at 12:54pm
I am getting an electric starter for my nitro engines and it runs off a Li-po battery. It's a Rhino 2350 high discharge 25C series. I think it's a 3 cell.
Any idea what kind of charger I should buy? |

Any 50-100w Lipo charger would work perfect for a battery that size. Then just look for the features you want like AC or DC power source etc....

If one were to prepare for the future and buy a charger that would be universal or good for "all types" what would you suggest?

The Spektrum S2100 is a great charger, can charge 2 packs at the same time and is AC, so no external power supply required. Available at Mighty Small Cars as well.

I ended up buying this one used from Don Menchion.

Nice one, that charger should have plenty of power to charge up any packs you might need.

Ok so I finally figured out how to balance charge the 3 cell 11.1 v lipo I have. My question is will the charger stop charging by itself?

Yes, once it reaches 4.2v/cell, it will stop charging as long as you have it set to "lipo".
