Cooper and I walked up to the field today to have a look at the land clearing. Very muddy road, quite slippery walking because of the mud, not the ice. lol

I shot some video and photos with the DJI mini 2 and thought those who have not seen what is going on might like to have a look. Much of this, especially behind the pits was not done when we stopped flying last fall.

the last shot is a large pile of earth being brought in for fill.

Very interesting Al. Hopefully we can get up there next month! Nice perspective of the cleared area as well.

That is a dramatic change from when I was last there over a year ago. As they have cleared the stumps and slash, it doesn't look like they have cleared the land for a larger flying field. I assume they are preparing the land for agricultural use. What crop are they going to plant? If corn, that is the best kind of field to hide planes in. They go in and seem to be swallowed up.
