Title: Quad EMAX 250 build Post by Raptor on Aug 5th, 2015 at 7:23pm
I have started my build on the quad and though i would document the process and ask some questions as i go for those who have build a EMAX 250 Quad
My first question for you guys is about bottom frame it looks to me as tho this is part of the power distribution , there is a positive and negative point to solder the battery lead and the leads from the ESC. Is this correct ? |

The quad you have is a little different then the one I have. Looks like the bottom frame has the power distribution built in so you are correct, you solder your ESC power leads and your battery power leads to the solder tabs.

I had a funny moment last night , I was looking for a way mount the CC3D board on the inside , because of the way the esc wires connect to the board i installed it upside down ...
put everything back together , charged the battery to do test flight.. armed the motors ... ect.. then decided to lift off, the thing just flipped over on it own... i just laughed . so did some reading on the cc3d board , to discover i had to rotate the roll 180 deg to fix the problem, so now the receiver and the cc3d are on the inside. the battery can now mount on the top |
