Title: Carbon Cub - motor wiring

anyone figured out how to stow the foot of wire which blocks air flow, without cutting both the ECS leads and the motor leads, the 9 o/c position does not cut it.

After my 60 amp CC ESC fried itself, horizon hobby replaced my 60 amp ESC.
Now I am thinking ... New Transmitter (Futaba 8) new ESC
>>somewhere i read about throttle being reversed first time in the setup and the ESC going into programming mode.
Now not being use to Elite ESCs, i wonder what they do with 6S battery if they are programmed out of the shipped auto setting by ignorance/mistake, say into the 3S mode.

would that cause them to roast themselves?

cannot say for sure brian, but if an esc is rated for six cells, I can't see programming burning it out.  six cell components would still be six cell components.

however, reversed polarity on the battery leads sure would.  check your polarity carefully before plugging in the new one.

and yes, with futaba, you always have to reverse the throttle srtting.
