Rob Forbrigger and I had the field all to ourselves this morning. the wind varied from none to brisk, getting strong by noon when we left.
lots of flying. Rob shot this video of my Um Mig 15 using my camera. Nice job Rob. the MIG looks great! ;D http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y2pHK_uDPF0&feature=g-upl |

Too bad we can't filter out the wind noise but it does give you an idea of how windy it was yet the plane was rock solid.

That is truly amazing Al ! I tried to fly my Great planes Sabre the other night and it was a handful in the slightest breeze, definitely only for indoors. funny e-flite didn't make a Sabre to match ?

I expect they will. However, the mig is ideally suited because of the split intake which results in a great spot to bury a battery.
The straight through tunnel in a sabre would mean the battery would have to be located somewhere else and based on the mig balance it would have to be up in the canopy area. |
