Post by shawn m on Nov 29th, 2011 at 11:09am
Hey guys...

No Flying at HERH on Friday night, but I have use of the gym in Indian Brook on Saturday morning. Who wants to come play?  I'm thinking around 10sh for a start time and getting done till no one has anything left to fly.

Also...Please note that flying at HERH will resume next Tuesday, Dec 6th At 7:30pm to 9:30pm.

Hey Gang

Reminder that I will be going for a few flips at the Indian Brook Community Center on Saturday Dec 3rd. I will be there to open the gym at 10am.  If you're in need of a fix, here is a good chance to get the shakes out since we will not be flying tonight at HERH.

We resume at HERH next tuesday Dec 6th.  Starting at 7:30

yessir, it was a good time. and the jaws sure dropped when jon's extra stopped mid air and just sat there nose up.  No one knew for a few seconds what had happened and just stood there wondering what had happened to gravity.  good laugh.

only after some scrutiny did we realize invisible fishing line was hanging from the ceiling in several places, just waiting to snag an airplane.  it did.  then shawn went up in a rescue mission with the heli which promptly fell victim to the same hazard.

it was difficult getting them down.

let us know if you get another day lined up.

That was a great flying day today. We did get quight a suprise... one minute I am flying and talking to dad, and the next minute my plane was hanging from the ceiling :-/ I had no idea what just happened! I will say that a rescue mission came rather quickley, but didnt quight go as planed! LOL Thanks to Shawn for trying. It made for an interesting recovery mission. :D All and all it was a great flying session, and I am glad that I went. The gym was so much easier to see my helicopter in because of the better lighting. I would love to do it again someday. Thanks Shawn for the great flying session!

Missed another good indoor session.   Michael R and I dished up his new Canadair CL-215.

Need a little ADH-50, C5, or equivalent brushless motor.

It was lots of fun Bill.  After breaking my skis, I felt a rebuild was in order.  So I made new ones with wheels to work on the gym floor.

Very cute Shawn…   and Al is right – you need a Santa and the prop spinner should be red.
