Still looking at the schedule for indoor.. There is good news and bad news... Here is the bad news... Wednesday night is already booked, however Friday nights could be an option if need be... Please keep in mind that there are usually inservices on Friday and there are tournaments on the weekend that start on Fridays that we may need to work around... I would like to have some thoughts on this before I book any evenings...

I also looked into RECs gym schedule as well and they are booked solid for the winter...

I agree with Al.  I'm happy so long as we have somewhere to fly!

Friday sounds great to me, I dont have to work the next day, and I dont have to kill myself at work to make it to flying, as I dont usually work late on fridays. It would suck if we could not fly there this winter. Thanks for trying to organize this Shawn.

OK Gang... So here's the scoop on indoor at HERH...  I have just booked the gym starting this Friday Oct 7th from 7 to 9pm and every Friday till the begining of December...  After that we will be moving to Tuesday nights from 7:30 to 9:30 till Easter...  Let the games begin :)

I would like to shawn but i have nothing to fly indoor right now. As you remeber my trojan went to a better place after the indoor event in kentville lol.

Build, rebuild and repeat...

add a couple of bucks of 3mm foam, a bit of foamsafe ca and you have a new flyable plane.  lots of fun in these little pie plate flyers.  you can use everything from the trojan, even the wheels and pushrods.  about an evening to put one together.  lots of 'em flying in shubie...

how do i get to the school from the highway

Take exit 9 on hwy 102.  Turn left when you come to the stop sign.  The high school is only a few hundred meters down the road on your right hand side.  If you take the 2nd entrance into the school you'll see the cars parked up by the side doors.  Go in those doors and hang a left as soon as you walk in.  The gym is at the end of the hallway.

Take exit 9 then proceed left on the over pass till you get to the stop sign.. You should see a Co-op.. Take left turn and you are less then a km from the school... We use the side doors on the far end of the building by the soccer field on top of ramp..

It looked in parts as if you were actually behind the camera following the planes around.  That's hard enough holding the camera, let alone flying the platform and pointing it in the proper direction.  At one point you even tipped the nose up to follow the extra in a climb.  amazing!

The stability is excellent, and quality is not too bad.  Thanks for that!

What time do you start. I have nothing small enough...yes I said it...nothing small enough to fly in the gym. I do have a friend that has a heli to fly. I may drop out after the nightly gym outing ;)

Just a quick note during the salt season.  We were asked to bring indoor footwear for the gym .

With the forecast calling for snow tomorrow, there is a chance of a snow day.  In the event that school is cancelled, so will indoor flying. 

If there is school, we are good to go unless the roads are too bad for travel.  We can post on here as to what everyone's intentions are.

Just thought I'd let all you folks know that NRCM's indoor at NSCC Stellarton is still on through until the end of May.

We fly Friday's 5:30pm to 9:30pm.  $10 and MAAC required.

There will be no flying on April 6th & May 11th due to gym bookings. 

Both Bill and Al will attest to the size of the gym.  Hope to see some of you out if you have withdrawal from no indoor  :D

I can confirm the gym is an excellent size ben.  not sure about bill though, he keeps hitting the walls.  ;D

hehe maybe he needs some new spectacles  ;D
