New beta 3.0 upgrade for Phoenix RC 2.5 has been released - check http://www.phoenix-sim.com/news.htm
Appears to be slicker/flashier than previous version. Nice aircraft scaling option also (literally increase/decrease size of aircraft). One minor issue - recalibration of transmitter appears to be required. Also from Phoenix RC Customer Service in answer to an email I sent them: Quote All of our updates are offered completely free of charge to our customers, so if you purchase version 2.5 now you will be able to download the 3.0 Beta, and later the 3.0 Release version for free from our website, or purchase a new DVD with the latest version on it for a small price at a later date if you wish. the issues I mentioned on the HEFA forum marc were on my end. a re-calibration of the transmitter fixed everything. great upgrade for a great simulator.
