ASRCM and HEFA members at the VALLEY GATHERING 2011
There are 12 airplanes and 10 helicopters flying in this picture. Count 'em!
The WW1 crowd. Jon, and Shawn of ASRCM, and Vic from HEFA exhibited some nice formation flying with their bi-planes. The two from Jon and Shawn are E-flite while Vic designed and scratch built his exact scale SE5.
Jon and Al hovering in close proximity. Can you tell they're having fun?
Frank winds up the fans on his parkzone Mossie. Fast and groovy and handled by a smooth flyer!
This little cub was the worse for wear after the mass fly.
Retrieving was hazardous with the traffic!
Jordan makes a small repair.
Beware of the hun in the sun!
Trojans, lots of trojans, off on another flight.
Vic, Duncan and Barry prepare for their seminar on scratch building inexpensive small models from everyday materials. A very interesting discussion, one of four on various aspects of the radio control hobby held during the event.
Two Mossie's. Impressive flown together!
John Hatt of Maritime Hobbies presents Duncan with an indoor Champ. John is an avid supporter of the hobby and is always front and center when it comes time to donating prizes for various meets/events in the area. That's him, the little guy hiding behind the big box. At right is Jeremy Dann, one of the prime movers behind the success of the Valley Gathering.
