MAAC mag has come a long way since October '79. In this issue (note the cover is dedicated to the NATS which had just been held) we find that Ivan Kristensen beat out Chris Sheehan and Don Lowe for first in Masters class pattern...Also, Karel Solnicka from HRCC earned a place on the Scale Team to attend the World Scales..

in '79 this was considered a very risquee cover - it's only the emphasis on the Nats Report that would allow it to be used...... Roll Eyes

Remember this radio?? I had one. The Isotronics was extremely well made, in Canada. You certainly didn't need Expo if flying this radio...the dunham servos were the slowest things on the market - 1 slow roll was all you got..... Wink
