I'm working on one too, but not from internet plans. gotta love autocad!
might be a bit small, but so is the motor :) This foam is much heavier than you'd think. I could build a complete balsa airframe about twice this size for the same weight. in fact this size in balsa might be the better way to go. everything except the one piece wing laid out for inspection. |

stuck together for a picture.
this will have one of those GWS IPS geared systems with a 8/6 prop and a two cell lipo from my cx heli..should hopefully be in the eight ounce range, although the weight so far has me concerned.. |

How thick is the foam Al? John Hatt has depron that starts at 1mm! 2mm is all that you would probably require?

and one more on the way (corsair) P-47 Spitfire corsair is on the way just remember to keep it less than 3.75oz or less they are fast direct drive on 2s 400lipo sure not an indoorflyer unless its a baseball stadium |
